BREAKING: Peace Corps wins N2bn human rights suit against police, others Published on   November 9, 2017 By   Yemi Itodo   The Peace Corps of Nigeria (PCN) on Thursday won its N2bn Human Rights Suit instituted against the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, the Nigerian Police Force and 4 others. This was even as the presiding Judge, Hon. Justice Gabriel Kolawole also gave a 7-day ultimatum that the National Headquarters of the Corps located at No 57 Iya Abubakar Crescent, off Alex Ekwueme way, opposite Jabi Lake, Jabi, Abuja, be unsealed. Fresh Arrest The Internationalpolice popularly called the INTERPOL had issued fresh warrants for the arrest of the embattled former Chairman of the defunct Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms, Mr. Abdulrasheed Maina.The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, disclosed this in an interview with our correspondent.Shehu said Maina’s investigation had been extendedbeyond his reinstatement and subsequent posting.He said the investigation would even be extended to some foreign countries.The presidential spokesman said, “Maina’s investigation has been expanded.
